FAQs
While our goal is to have all attractions available during scheduled operating hours, weather conditions like rain, lightning, wind, snow, and certain temperatures can temporarily cause attractions to close. Hersheypark® remains open during inclement weather conditions and offers a variety of indoor activities including entertainment shows, dining options, shopping, game arcades, exhibits at ZooAmerica®, as well as rides under cover while you wait for the weather to clear.
Hersheypark makes every effort to reopen the rides and attractions as quickly and safely as possible after the inclement weather conditions cease. In the event the inclement weather conditions cause the majority of major rides and attractions to close for a continuous 60 minutes on a public operating day, a Return Visit Voucher may be issued for a return visit for the current operating season. Please present your ticket stub or receipt of purchase to any Guest Services location to receive your Return Visit Voucher (note, not valid for private events).
Download and check the Hersheypark Mobile App for an up-to-date listing of closed rides and ride wait times.
Hersheypark is committed to helping our guests with food allergies make the best possible dining choice during their visit. Park guests with food allergies can visit Overlook Food Court which offers allergen, vegan and gluten friendly options including wraps, salads, pizzas, chicken tenders, and vegan and gluten friendly snacks. For additional allergy-friendly options, Flying Fare, located in Pioneer Frontier, is a gluten and nut-friendly stand with made-to-order menu items that can be customized to fit your needs.
Additionally, each restaurant is listed on our website and mobile App with menu items, ingredients and allergen information. While in the Park, our food and beverage staff can supply ingredient files at each location to answer any questions you may have. Epi-Pens are permitted at Hersheypark, and our First Aid has Registered Nurses on site at all times.
If you have additional questions, please contact us at Hersheypark@HersheyPA.com or call us at 717-534-3900. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours prior to your visit for a response.

Neither Hersheypark nor its employees assume responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property. Locker storage is available throughout the Park.
