Find Your Perfect Role
Singers
All singers/dancers must register as EITHER a singer OR a dancer. Choose your strongest talent and register accordingly. Singers should prepare two vocal selections of contrasting styles (16 bars each). Please bring sheet music in the proper key or an edited musical track on a CD. An accompanist will be provided. Singers may be called back to learn a dance combination after the vocal audition. Not all singers will be asked to dance.
Dancers
All singers/dancers must register as EITHER a singer OR a dancer. Choose your strongest talent and register accordingly. Dancers should be prepared to learn several dance combinations. Please wear appropriate dance attire and shoes. Dancers may be asked to sing following the dance audition. Please see Singers description for preparation. Not all dancers will be asked to sing.
Specialty Performers & Character Actors
Be prepared to demonstrate a comedic monologue and exhibit improvisational skills. Please note specialty skills on your registration form such as: juggling, clowning, stilt walking, sleight of hand magic tricks, and more.
Musicians
Musicians should prepare technical and lyrical excerpts and be prepared to demonstrate improvisational skills. A drum set, keyboard, guitar amp, and bass amp will be provided. Please bring all other instruments/equipment to your audition such as Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Tuba, Multi-Percussion, Guitar, and Bass.
Technicians
Hersheypark hires Stage Managers, Stagehands, Audio Technicians, Dressers, Lighting Technicians, and Wardrobe Supervisors. All technicians should prepare for an interview with a resume and cover letter stating qualifications.

General Audition Information
All candidates must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate by May 1, 2020 to be eligible for these positions with Hersheypark. We will be attending multiple auditions before and after these Hershey auditions. Successful candidates will more than likely NOT be notified on the day of the audition.

General Employment Information
Rehearsals begin early May and the summer contract will end in August. This contract will require employees to work six days a week and will not allow for personal time off. Performer wages will start at $540 per week, depending on position and experience. Technician wages will start at $515, depending on position and experience.
