2008 AUDITIONS FOR PERFORMERS, MUSICIANS, & TECHNICAL STAFF
The Sweetest Place for Stars! HERSHEYPARK, ranked as a top theme park in the United States, with over 60 attractions and top-name entertainment, is looking for talented performers and musicians to be cast in one of ten shows.
2008 HERSHEYPARK ENTERTAINMENT AUDITIONS
HERSHEYPARK resident entertainment demands performers and musicians with entertaining personalities and high energy to perform different musical genres from Broadway to Rock n’ Roll to Country. Our technical staff maintains the running of our daily live performances.
We are looking for the following positions:
- SINGERS/DANCERS
- DANCERS
- GYMNASTS, STUNT PERFROMERS, AERIAL ARTISTS
- MUSICIANS (Bass, Guitar, Percussion, Keyboard, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Saxophone (doubling preferred), Fiddle)
- TECHNICIANS (Sound, Lighting, Stage Hands)
- WARDROBE PERSONNEL (Supervisors and Dressers)
- STAGE MANAGERS
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or a high school graduate by May 2008 to audition.
- Please bring a non-returnable photo and resume with references.
- Singer/Dancers should be prepared with two vocal selections of contrasting styles (16 bars each). Bring sheet music in the proper key or edited musical track.
- Accompanist will be provided. All singers may be called back to learn a dance combination after their vocal audition.
- Dancers should be prepared to learn several dance combinations. Please wear appropriate dance attire and shoes (character and tap).
- Musicians should be prepared with major/minor scales, an etude, two solo selections of contrasting styles, and improvisation.
Salary:
Performers: Starting at $500 per week
Stage Managers: $425 - $515 per week
Technicians and Wardrobe: $400 - $500 per week
Salary is based on six days per week, eight shows per day. E.O.E. M/F

Video Auditions
If you are unable to audition in person, please send a video tape to HERSHEYPARK auditions. All video submissions must meet the following requirements:
- Video tapes must be recorded using NTSC standards
- 2 vocal selections of varying styles (16 bars each)
- A dance combination demonstrating country, jazz, tap, musical theatre, or a combination of styles. Must not exceed five minutes.
- Include any video of past performance experiences.
- Please include a resume, headshot, and contact information with video
